  1. High resolution Desktop Paint 256 drivers for
  2. Tseng 4000 based super VGA cards.
  3.  
  4. These drivers work in the 800 by 600 and 1024 by 768 pixel,
  5. 256-colour screen modes and require half and one megabyte
  6. of VGA card memory respectively.

  8.     TSNG600.DRV    -     800 by 600
  9.     TSNG768.DRV    -    1024 by 768

  11. Things to note:

  13. This version of these drivers uses the same eight-point font
  14. as the 640 by 480 pixel drivers. As such, the relative size
  15. of the text will be smaller in these drivers. We're looking
  16. at using a larger font in the next revisions of the high
  17. resolution drivers.
  18.  
  19. Each time you change tools, scroll or save your file, Desktop Paint must
  20. copy the image from the screen. This will take proportionally longer
  21. if you use the higher resolution drivers.
  22.  
  23. The use of these drivers with a monitor which cannot support the
  24. screen modes in question may damage your VGA card and your monitor.
  25. Make sure you know that your hardware is up to using them.

  27. To use one of these drivers, set the DTP driver path field in
  28. DTPCINST to the appropriate driver name and directory path.
